This band is by far one of the illest bands I've ever worked with. I know this is my "artist" blog, but I certainly have to work with these guys. They are on the shortlist to produce my album. And they will be my live touring band for real!! CHeck the footage, and enjoy. (Show was produced by me by the way! lol)

CMJ has been quite the experience this year, and truthfully one of the most inspiring in my career. I think most times I have not really taken CMJ that serious and always overlooked it for what it was, a great time to network and use my many different skills to further my career. At the same time, I believe this is the first time I'm looking at CMJ through grown up eyes.

Not only does it have me thinking of things I can do with my own brand, but allows me to understand that with hard work and preperation, you can achieve anything you want. I am looking forward to my trip to Japan for JAPN MUSIC WEEK and hanging out with DAI from www.daitime.com. I'll bring some of this new found knowledge with me.

This is dope!! I slept on these kids talent. Would like to see more stuff like this.

So in the despairing state of HIP HOP, I find myself drawn more and more to the underground scene. But I wander how it is that so much talent is available? I think its because much like visual artists underground artists don't have an affinity for the business that exists within the MUSIC BIZ. Though I know I sit on both sides of the table now. I feel there there is ample talent to control their manifest destiny.

I mean think DRAKE parlayed his situation by hiring the best in the marketing biz alongisde a great Music connect "Lil Wayne". So does this mean that the coupling of music, art, and the right investor mean success. Well truthfully it does not, but its a good start. Even great business models with ample venture capital, have to have good business practices.

This means maximizing assets. But how do you do that when you are questing for the Bentley? HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM that is certainly a liability, alongside guady jewelry, excessive shopping, and some of the other pitfalls of stardum that most underground heads quest for. Just some food for thought, you do the dishes.

So I am putting the finishing touches on the White Rabbit Adventure, It's shaping up pretty cool. It will be available for download October 20th, 2009. I'm pretty excited about it. I can see why it feels like you're releaeing a real album, though its just a mixtape.

This cat is one of the few lyrical dudes coming out of the US,I am digging what he's bringing to the game. Young Simba is my joint.

This cat is all over the globe these days. I am excited to see him go back to the raw hip hop too.

It was deffinitley a dope show, I did my thing on the 1s and 2s but the night deffinitley goes to DJ KRAF SWAGGER, Dope DJ. Also big props go to my man Prophit he's a problem I can't wait to do some work with him in the studio. It's gonna be crazy!!!
